See Where it is Made
Our products begin as all good carvings do: a simple piece of wood and an idea. Our artisans use only the best olive wood from the Holy Land, and often the pieces aren’t the work of a single artist but an entire family of artists working to provide you with beautiful pieces that will help reflect your faith.
It begins when the olive wood is harvested using sustainable practices that don’t damage the tree itself, allowing the grove to continually renew itself.
Pieces are initially run through a machine that helps create the rough look, then handed off to a well-trained artisan who hand chisels every detail you see. Once the sculpting process is complete, the item is gently sanded, then polished. Eventually, it’s coated in olive wax so you can see the natural features of the wood and enjoy its shine day after day.
